Xreal files U.S. lawsuit accusing Viture of infringing AR glasses patent

Xreal subsidiary Matrixed Reality Technology filed patent infringement suit in Eastern District of Texas against Viture affiliates Eden Future HK and Beijing Xingzhe Wujiang Technology. Lawsuit alleges Viture's AR glasses including Pro, Luma Pro and Luma Ultra models infringe US Patent 11,988,839 covering AR optical systems. Case follows November 2025 German preliminary injunction against Viture products. Xreal represented by Covington & Burling seeks to halt alleged infringement of lightweight AR eyewear technology. Viture has not responded publicly.
