Feb 14, 2025PAPERLESS ORDER GRANTING 189 Unopposed Motion to Withdraw as Attorney (the "Motion"). In the Motion, counsel for Defendants Zhangyueyuan and LINBABY Direct (the "Corporate Defendants") seeks to withdraw as counsel of record due to "Defendants' failure to pay further attorney fees and unwillingness to continue the litigation." ECF No. 189 at 2. Under these circumstances, the undersigned finds good cause exists to permit the Corporate Defendants' counsel to withdraw from the case. Accordingly, other than as set forth below, Attorney Jianyin Liu, of the Law Offices of James Liu PLLC, is relieved of any further obligation in this matter. Corporate entities like Corporate Defendants Zhangyueyuan and LINBABY Direct, however, may not appear before this Court without an attorney and must be represented by counsel. Palazzo v. Gulf Oil Corp., 764 F.2d 1381, 1385 (11th Cir. 1985). Thus, by March 17, 2025, Corporate Defendants Zhangyueyuan and LINBABY Direct must retain new counsel (who must file a Notice of Appearance). Within two business days from the date of this Order, the Corporate Defendants' former counsel must: (i) serve this Order on Corporate Defendants Zhangyueyuan and LINBABY Direct via First Class U.S. Mail and email to the last known email addresses listed in the Motion, see ECF No. 189 at 2; and (ii) file a Notice confirming service.
