A low volume bioreactor system for measuring bioprocess parameters like pH, dissolved oxygen, and cell density in small volumes. The system uses optical chemical sensing with excitation sources and detectors multiplexed to share electronics. The sensors emit or absorb light that changes based on analyte concentration. This allows on-line measurement and control of multiple process parameters in small volumes without competing for oxygen like larger probes.
